I'm going to print that on a shirt. That or something like music is love or some other corny crap about how music equals oxygen, food and water - I need it to live. YEBA.
Anyway, I'm on fire right now because of all these "new" music I've been discovering for the past few weeks. Right now, I'm all over Japanese and Chinese rock, or J-Rock and C-Rock. Naks. It all started with my Hana Kimi obsession. One of the songs from the soundtrack is by a Japanese band called Orange Range. They have a pretty cool sound. I downloaded a couple of their songs, including the one from the Bleach soundtrack. Bleach, by the way, is a popular anime, which I do not watch. Haha. I also downloaded some songs by Asian Kung Fu Generation, who also contributed to the soundtrack of Bleach and other anime like Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist. I'm still looking for tracks by Taiwanese underground band Dong Cheng Wei. I can't seem to find any. Sigh. Anyway, I'm going to keep trying.
They all sound pretty good. Kind of like our Pinoy bands, only they sing in Japanese or Chinese. Hehe. The guitar riffs and the drum beats speak to me, so ahlavet.

what up with this lj, foo?
i want to quit this corporate shit. but where oh where shall i go? and what oh what shall i do?
by accident (or is it?) i stumbled on a talented character actor's lj. i want to meet this guy. so i can meet his dad. bwahahaha. kidding. oh god, how did i become so stalker-y? can i be your groupie? and do all those fun things like in almost famous? hahaha.
couple of weeks ago, i bought this vcd (mahal dvd eh! haha) of a movie called layercake, which stars daniel craig, colm meaney, and sienna miller. sienna miller played a real minor role.. but a real sexy minor role. love the accent. i love the way she says "yeah." i think the movie was made by the people behind snatch and lock stock and two smoking barrels. i love british films like this. british humor is priceless.
i'm going crazy in this fckng cubicle. too early, man. a bit of coffee should do the trick, eh? |
